March Newsletter 2004

Hi everyone. Spring is in the air and it has given me renewed energy. I love this time of the year when things come to life. It has been a busy time lately. I just finished editing the manuscript for my new book that is due to be released later this year. I am excited about the results and just as soon as I can release the exciting details about this book, you all will be the first to know. I also just received the strike-off fabric samples (this is like a test printing of the patterns and colors) from Timeless Treasures for my new fabric line that will be released in a few months. I am already working on some exciting quilt designs that will be put up on my web site and theirs so you can down load the patterns and foundations right to your computer. Timeless Treasures Fabrics, inc. I love this new technology!

In January, I had the opportunity to teach on a Caribbean cruise sponsored by Quilt-Pro Systems. The weather was beautiful and the combination of enjoying the company of quilters from around the world whether in the ports of call or during the classes offered on the days at sea was such fun. We are already making plans for another cruise next January. If you would like to be put on the mailing list to receive information about this cruise, just stop by the Quilt-Pro website and sign up. Drum roll please - - Kelly Brown is the winner of the contest that I announced in my September newsletter. She will receive two signed copies of my books and a fat quarter pack of the Garden Path collection. Congratulations Kelly!

I was honored to be nominated by quilters across the countryas one of the top 24 All-American Quilters by the American Quilter's Society their spring issue of the American Quilter.

I will be traveling to Tennessee, Massachusetts, Chicago for the Quilt Festival, Rhode Island, New York and Connecticut in the next few weeks. I look forward to meeting some of you along the way.

Until next time, all the best,
Carol
